REFLECTION

Experience:

Even though typography isn't easy, I enjoyed working on the assignments, particularly the 3rd one. But it does take a lot of work, I have probably spent the most amount of time on this module this semester. I will definitely finish off what i started and complete the font from assignment 3 and use it in the future.

Observation:

We've learned a variety of things that are very handy when it comes to communication, typography is essential for knowing how to deal with a body of text. I never knew there's so much to typography even though this is technically the second time I'm taking it. The first time I took it in Turkey, it wasn't as in depth as this module.

Findings:

Although typography is very particular and has a stint set of rules and guidelines, it's still a creative field and is one of the most important aspects of graphic design. Words can be expressed with the right typeface. Sometimes, less is more. A simple yet effective design is one of the best ways to approach formatting text.
